Educational Facilities: The Story of Loss and Lack

Students spend a good deal of their learning periods at school.  What does this fact implicate?  --That students needed to have access to a comfortable environment, one that fosters learning, creativity, and dreams.

Yet, famous instances entail that the loss or lack of educational facilities (or education) inspire the strongest ambitions on students.  Some students who haven’t have the comfort of good chairs, later on their adult (and capable) years, provide such chairs.  One might say it’s charitable, but in truth, a lot of educational institutions simply couldn’t afford to provide.

Such scenario obscures the picturesque environments of developed countries’ schools.  This countries of which not only superbly meet the requirements of educational facilities but also gives education for free.  Perhaps, another may simply say that one’s simple dream is another’s lofty privilege.

And in the utopian world of education, such facilities need not be the bottom-line.  Instead, everyone opts to pick the progress for quality rearing of students.  No one needs to complain about the hideously dirty (and disease-nesting) lavatory or uncomfortable comfort rooms.  No one needs to share one book among five or dozens of other pupils.  No one has to painfully content the butt to sit on concrete-floors.

Until all such simple things are met, students will continue to cry for quality facilities.  In common instances, the access to educational facilities is a strong reinforcement to students.  The comfort of sitting and listening to the teacher sounds better than having to stay outside, till the soil and help in harvesting crops. 
 
It is good that large educational institutions and organisations work on helping the underprivileged institutions.  However, the wonder of the lack and loss of facilities is the inventive inspiration that hits students and other individuals – designing eco-friendly schools, or constructing chairs out of indigenous materials.

Educational Facilities: Taking a Good Look

A craftsman needs his tool to work.  The same can be said of engineers, architects, artists, or inventors.  Sometimes, it is not just the tool; required also is the environment.  In school, what do students and teachers need to operate?

The long minutes of thinking are not necessary; the answer is none other than the educational facilities.  Yes, those things students or teachers sometimes disregard or take for granted; those are their facilities, their tools and environment – the things that facilitate all educational processes of instruction and learning.

Take a look at that classroom: it has a complete set of chairs and desks, the desks are equipped with nook-keepers and its hinges are strong despite the numerous swinging for a close and open.  Take notice of the books, those reference-, text-, and work-books, as well as the writing implements.  All of these are the basic inclusive of students’ educational facilities.

How about your teachers or tutors?  They have those black and dustless whiteboards, all to share for students and other teachers alike.  They also have their own books, manuals and writing implements, those globes, maps, and other so-called ‘props’ – these too make up the educators’ educational facilities.

In general, both teachers and students are equipped with classrooms, and buildings that practically house those individual rooms.  And in each rooms, they’ve got the lighting, the windows, and fans – all of which gives sufficient comfort for its occupants.  And in each floor levels, there are comfort rooms to boot.  Other implements would include the library, the faculty room for teachers, the stage or centre quadrangles.     

Years of using these facilities, do students and teachers do something in return?  Do they take good care of these, repair or re-paint, et cetera?  Well, they should; these things are inanimate proofs of their academic progression.

Educational Facilities: Conducting a User-Assessment

Rotting schools – are these old news? One common perception is that some schools are just plain lucky to get generous funding. Regardless of the truth or falsity of this statement, an important point to bring out is this: educational facilities are big deal.

Why? Check for yourself: would you like to write under poor lighting? Are you interested to hear your teacher’s lecture amidst the cars honking and zooming near the school’s purlieu? Are there sufficient areas for you to study or work your papers?

Evidently, educational facilities have something to do with all of those questions. From the term itself, your school should be able to effectively facilitate your education. Otherwise, your education does not solely suffer; so is your future.

For existing facilities, schools may start the improvement or refurbishment via a simple user-assessment; users referring to students and teachers. Provided below is a step-by-step process on conducting the user-assessment:

1. Encourage participation. The key to engaging user commitment is getting all the youth folks to participate. This can be made possible by introducing them to their needs, or practically their right – to have access to the best of school facilities.

2. Present the method (and make it easy for them). To avoid confusion, show them the method of getting and providing feedback in the language they understand. You may utilize a questionnaire, opinion poll, or detailed interviews to get the students’ story.

3. Give update on gathered feedback and plans. Every participator should be made aware of how the feedback is treated.

Educational facilities, indeed, have a huge room to play in every student’s learning and a teacher’s instructing. Whether it’s the building’s temperature, lighting, or multi-functional desks, every aspect does count. In sum, an efficient facility makes everyone’s hard work worthy – the teachers, students, or parents.

How to Create an Ideal Learning Process

Education as a process is not a perfect one. Defined, education is the process in which knowledge, skills and other values are passed from one person to another. Education is a formative process, which means there is a need to shape and develop the students’ knowledge and skills during the entire course. Education as a process has many flaws. There is no perfection education, since there are no perfect teachers and perfect students. But the importance of education has been well established, and without it, the society would have not even flourished.

Although education cannot be, in any manner and any time, perfect, there is a need to set what could be called the ideal learning process. This ideal learning process or education is far from perfect, but it achieves the main goal of imparting and forming knowledge, skills, and values at the most effective manner. To do this, there is a need to consider some elements that are currently contributing a lot to the quality of education. Some of these aspects are educational facilities, teaching faculty and education administrators.

Educational facilities include but are not limited to school buildings, classrooms and equipment. These facilities help expedite the education process by making academic life more comfortable and suitable for learning. These facilities also help in creating an environment wherein students and teachers alike co-exist harmoniously.

Teaching faculty includes all personnel that are directly involved in imparting knowledge and skills. Education administrators, meanwhile, includes other individuals whose jobs are to facilitate the other school related activities aside from teaching.

These aspects, educational facilities, teaching faculty, administrators, as well as others, aid a lot in creating an ideal learning process. Just with the right mix of the above aspects, the society could create a system that would be effective in expediting education.

Elements essential in making a school an ideal place for learninge

The development of students in the schools depends on several factors. You may not have been aware of this, but school is not just about the students and the teachers, it is also about other elements that make the institution a suitable place for learning. They include the educational facilities, school administration, equipment and miscellaneous buildings.

Educational facilities include the school buildings, classrooms, study hall, libraries, laboratories, and others the directly further the process of learning. They allow teachers and professors to transmit knowledge and skills in the most efficient. These educational facilities provide a setup wherein learning becomes very conducive, allowing students to absorb knowledge and learn skills faster than any other place. Major Factors Affecting Quality Education

Education is the process in which knowledge, skills and set of values are passed or imparted from a person to another. In the formal setting wherein learning is done in schools, the success of educators in imparting knowledge and skills depends on the quality of education they are providing to their students. There are, however, many factors that affect quality of education. This article will just discuss two of the major factors that affect the quality of education in school: educational facilities and academic faculty.

In a general sense, education refers to the formative process through which knowledge, skills, values and other sets of learning are passed or imparted from one person to another. This is usually done through a formal setting called school. Schools include but are not limited to primary schools, secondary schools, sixth form schools, vocational schools, colleges and universities. But for these educational institutions to function well so as to expedite the learning process, educational facilities are a necessity. These facilities refer to all the structures as well as equipment used to facilitate learning in schools. These facilities include buildings, classrooms, conference hall, libraries, gymnasiums, and other structures and equipment. Without these facilities, students have to endure holding classes under the scorching heat of the sun or risk getting wet by torrents of rain. Without these facilities, students would not have a decent place to learn the knowledge and skills they need.

Aside from educational facilities, a well-trained faculty is needed to expedite the learning process in schools. The academic faculty must be trained enough to handle the rigors of the teaching job and to be able to impart knowledge using the most effective methods. The school’s faculty should not just be a model of knowledge, skills and values, but also an epitome of true wisdom.

Factors that Affect the Quality of Education

In this world where education is one of the top priorities of every individual, there is a need to ensure that students get the much needed facilities as well as tools and materials to expedite the education process. Also, there is also a need to ensure that students get quality education from qualified teachers. For schools to be more effective in imparting knowledge to students, they need to provide the right educational facilities, proper tools and materials and highly qualified instructors.

These facilities are very important because they provide the proper learning environment or surroundings for students. Facilities that Help Further Education

The academe does not only mean a community of students, professors, teachers and administrators. It could also mean a place of instructions, where students are educated and trained. Thus for an academe to be more effective in teaching students, there is need for quality educational facilities. These facilities do not include only those that have direct involvement in raising the mental capacity of students; they also include machineries, equipment and more generally, buildings that could help improve the physical abilities of the members of the academe.

One of the important educational facilities in the academe is the classroom. A classroom is usually where instructions and training are given.
